NOMINATION COMMITTEE

The Nomination Committee's role in Medicinska Föreningen is to conduct interviews with students applying for various positions in the organisation, and then nominating the most suitable candidates for the post, to the General Council. The decision is then made at a council meeting, where both the nominees and any opposing candidates get a chance to present themselves and answer questions from the council. After that, the General Council makes a decision. The Nomination Committee is thus not a decision-making body but only a preparatory body for election matters.

The nomination committee is elected by the council and consists of at least 5 members. They are responsible for the announcement of all position openings as well as the candidate proposals in all electoral matters.
