In the southwest corner of SUS Malmö, on Carl-Bertil Laurells gata 2, lies an old chapel. This historical building was long forgotten and left to decay. Until recently.
In the spring of 2011, we had the great honor of inaugurating Locus Medicus Malmoensis (or Locus Malmö for short), our very own union building in the city of Malmö. Finally, our students in Malmö also got their own place to be! A house committee is responsible for arranging activities for Medicinska Föreningen’s members in Malmö and two house foremen are responsible for care and rentals.
This historic building, which once served as a hospital chapel, consists of two large halls and a fully equipped restaurant kitchen. Locus Medicus Malmoensis is available for rent for private use to our members and others connected to Lund University or Skåne University Hospital. More information can be found below.

HOUSE FOREMEN & MALMÖ MASTERS
The House Foremen are responsible for all booking arrangements as well as the management of our beautiful house in Malmö. The Malmö masters are responsible for keeping our Malmö house alive through the organization of social activities in co-operation with the other committees.
