CORBALEN

At the end of October each year, more than 500 ball guests gather in the AF castle's large hall to enjoy an eminent three-course supper complete with dinner entertainment and singing. The event is called Corbalen and is considered one of Northern Europe’s largest tail-coat dinners, right after the Nobel dinner. Corbalen is a long-standing and pompous event that has been arranged by all programs at the Faculty of Medicine in Lund since 1986. It is the three Corpus Medicum sections, Medicinska Föreningen, Vårdvetenskapliga studentföreningen and Sydsvenska sjukgymnastinstitutet, which together plan this grand event.
