GET INVOLVED IN YOUR EDUCATION!

Medicinska Föreningen primarily serves two important functions: educational advocacy and social activities, and there are plenty of ways you can get involved in education and study advocacy!

The organization's structure and the available positions vary slightly between different programs, but there's a common framework which you can see on the right. The Undergraduate Education Board (GUN) is common to all programs, but then there are program-specific boards, committees, and educational councils. The educational councils consist of a board and course representatives from all semesters, responsible for summarizing and representing the students' concerns.

Students affiliated with MF can get involved in positions of trust within the program, as well as program-specific positions. We have student representatives at all levels mentioned on the right, but much more as well! The majority of positions as student representatives are elected at the end of the spring term through MF's general assembly (FUM). Board positions within the educational councils are elected within each educational council, except for the chairmanship position, which is elected via FUM.
